Our Wedding

On May 26, 2012, this DIY Bride walked down the isle to marry her charming British gent in Spokane, Washington.  The day was filled with laughter and love while being surrounded by close family and friends.  The color palette was peacock, so the day was sprinkled in rich jewel hues, peacock feathers and plenty of bling.   I had a million moments throughout the wedding day, but one of my favorite was just feeling (get this) calm.  Yes, you read that right.  CALM.  I found myself washed with peace throughout the day, and I really enjoyed each moment and person that made our wedding so memorable.

{Curious what advice I would give to a  bride?  View my advice here.}

Here are a handful of some of my favorite snapshot during the day….

I also have to share one of the greatest surprises from our wedding day: our video from Life’s Flix .  The reason the video was a surprise is the video was shot via Flip Cams by our five of our close friends and family.  The cameras were returned to Life’s Flix to have magic editing to occur… less than two months later we received a 30 minute video highlighting our entire day.  With all of the anticipation of our wedding day, two months later it is wonderful to look back on all the collected memories of the day.   We have loved seeing moments that we were not aware of, from both of us getting ready separate, to guests reactions or bridal party fun.

Much love and appreciation to these wonderful vendors who worked with this crazy bride for months prior to our wedding!
