Positive Vibes

The Year of More

I’ve been thinking about what I want for 2016, how I want that year to feel and how I want to feel as I experience 2016. Many times, when it comes to resolutions we talk about being with less. Less weight or debt or even less junk food.

For 2016, I don’t want to think about being with less. Instead, what it comes down to, is I want more.

Now, don’t get me wrong…. I don’t want more things or stuff. Instead, I want more love, more joy. More laughing out loud and more high fives. More victories, and absolute magic.

More.

More dancing in the kitchen. More stamps in the passport. More adventure and challenges. More staying up late watching shooting stars. More early mornings watching the sun rise. I want more memories. More reading in bed, more fresh air. More puppy snuggles and beach days out. More singing in the shower, more creative expression.

I want more.

More of standing up for myself. More investing in myself, more in believing in this journey called life.

More storytelling and more building positive energy. More taking on risks and stretch assignments.

More asking questions and staying curious and learning. More of what lights my fire. More of what inspires and keeps me hungry.

2016 will be my year of more.  More of the good stuff. More of what makes my heart go flutter.

Tell me friends, what do you want more of in 2016?

  • I LOVE this and it’s so true! The older I get I want more of these things too and realizing that if we don’t live life to the fullest, what’s the point. And PS… I haven’t been on your actual site for a while (since I read posts from RSS) and I love the new design 🙂

    • Oh thanks Casey! Glad you like the new look, I’ve just updated it recently. Finally done with all of the little adjustments.

All about living to the fullest, and wanting more experiences and joy than worried about calories or or to-do lists. Have a great weekend!

  • I love this resolution! I want more memories with my little family–which we are sure to get with baby on the way! I also want more pictures with my husband–we’ve got so many pictures of just the other person, or the dog, or our food, but we seem to take less and less together! Maybe I need a selfie stick!

    • I am right with you about needing more pictures with Neal and I. I think I need to dig out my selfie stick to get more pictures of the two of us. (Thanks for the reminder!)

      Have a lovely weekend!
