Why hello lovers, and happy Friday! We are nearing the end of Blog Everyday in May, and it has been a challenge for sure. With the move, not having WiFi for a few days plus being manic at work it’s been tough at times. But, it’s been possible.
This weekend is another Bank Holiday here in the UK, meaning we have Monday off. How divine is that? In celebration, Neal and I are heading to the coast of Pembrokshire to explore a new (to me) spot in Wales. I hope to snap plenty of pictures for both Instagram, along with future blog posts for you all to enjoy.
And just for fun, and good measure, here is my fun Friday selfie for today:
Now, moving onto today’s post asking us to define beauty. We’ve all heard that beauty is all in the eye of the beholder, and I will say that for me there is something magical in finding beauty in the everyday.
The way the light reflects through the trees.
Meadows of bluebells, as far as the eye can see.
A nurse caring for their patient with care, attention and love.
Early morning light across a field.
A stormy day at the beach. (All warm and cozy inside of course!)
Vines of flowers that weave together, making it difficult to know where one starts and the other ends.
A starry filled sky.
Light filtering through stained glass windows of a church.
A stranger caring for another less fortunate through goodwill and compassion.
Ancient forests with layers of moss and plants and flowers.
Vistas that go on forever.
The world is a never ending beautiful place, and if we keep our eyes open we can capture moments of beauty everyday.
Tell me friends, how do you define beauty or find beauty in your everyday routine?
