High Five for Fridays! Life & Love

It’s Friday! Let’s Share a Few of Our Fave Moments….

Whelp, we were are Friday. Just you and me.  While America sleeps off the big 4th of July celebrations, I am in Wales not sleeping in or dreaming of fireworks.  But, I digress.  It’s still Friday which means the weekend is upon us and that always, always brings a smile to my face.  {Don’t believe me? Check out my selfie below….}  This week, was another awesome week. both in real life and in good old blogging land!

Let’s do some updates, shall we?

If you missed the news yesterday, this little blog broke the 500 follower mark on BlogLovin!  To thank all of my amazing and wonderful readers, I am offering 50% off all sponsorship options until Sunday July 7th.  Simply use promo code: THANKS500 via my Sponsor & Swap page.

In my “5 Years from Now” Post, I mentioned having a kid-free family, and I was overwhelmed by the response.  Of course, this has inspired me to begin crafting a blog post, be on the look out soon.

Thinking of becoming an expat and moving abroad? Bonnie’s post broke down the cost both financially and emotionally.  Practical with humor, loved it.

I loved Melyssa’s sweet post about lessons learned from her corgi Monja.  {Loved it hard.}  If you are an animal lover, make sure to read it!

Speaking of dog posts, I loved Rachel’s Postcard from Malcom when he introduces us to Ollie, this pup brother from another mother.

Amanda wrote a heartfelt post reminding us about the dedication of military families, around the world and to remember them on the 4th.

If you are a a foodie, then Selena’s  post about 2013 Taste of London will have you drooling.  Makes me want to go next year!

Needing tips for packing for your summer trip? Chelsea has got you covered.

I guest posted over with Molly about life in Wales.  {Plenty of lovely pics, everyone hop over and say hi!}

Now, here are a few of my fave snapshots of the week:

1. Puppy smooches on Mondays are the best. That is my honest opinon.

2. Mid-week selfie!

3. New Essie nailpolish. I love Essie.

4. The countryside waiting for my bus, with the church peeking out.

5. I have a problem with buying books.  I can’t stop…. Hopefully I read these before I turn 40. {I kid, fingers crossed for the end of this year!)

6-7. Neal took me to this lovely park near our home with a duck pond and everything.  I believe we had a new little spot to escape to!

Yesterday in celebration of the 4th of the July Neal treated this American girl to dinner at Hickory’s, a local American BBQ House.  There were plenty of American flags and decor, which I totally appreciated.  I had Mac & Cheese while Neal had chicken skewers.  Not a super vegetarian friendly but fun none the less.

I hope you all have a wonderful wonderful weekend!

PS-   Today is my last day for my reader survey! Remember, to make the deal even sweeter, I am offering 1 month of Royal Treatment ad space {my top billing people} for anyone who submits a survey.  Again, I love hearing feedback and this will give me some direction on the blog in the next few months.  Check out the survey here.
