Happy Saturday my lovelies! I thought a fun way to kick off the weekend would be to start my own travel archives series. (Why not, right?) Now, just to share a little bit about myself prior to being an expat I used to work on a cruise ship (random, I know). I traveled around the world, and visited over 35 counties. You know that means, right? I have plenty of travel memories in the archive and I can’t wait to share some of them with you!
Let me begin with a trip Neal and I took to Dublin, Ireland in the Spring of 2011, of course one of our stops had to be the Guinness Storehouse. This blog post is going to show you some of my favorite pics from that visit, plus my travel tips for visiting Guinness yourself.
Yeah, I was pretty excited. Can’t you tell?
One of my favorite parts of the visit was actually being able to step behind the bar and learn how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness!
*With your admission you get one pint of Guinness. Most visitors will beeline to the 360 degree bar, where you see the sights of Dublin. Instead, learn how to pour your own perfect pint of Guinness, on the 4th floor bar. Find out more here!
* Buy your tickets in advance (there is an online discount). You can purchase your tickets by visiting here.
*Start your day with a large Irish breakfast, and head to the Guinness Storehouse right when it opens. When we visited there was hardly anyone there, which allowed us not to feel too rushed!
What about you? Have you visited Dublin? What would be your tips for visiting the Guinness Storehouse?
