Today, I was feeling restless. We have been hanging around the house for so many days in a row that I just wanted to go somewhere new. The problem? The weather was windy and lookin’ like a cold December day. Neal came up with a solution, told me to dress warm, grab the camera but the final location would be a surprise. I started by guessing.. Is it a house? Something with animals? An old location? Have we been there before? With Neal not answering, I decided to go along with the flow… until about 15 minutes later when I saw a sign that said “Ice Cream Farm”.
Neal’s surprise outing was to the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, just about 20 minutes from our home in Wrexham. Uh, yes please.
There were tons of amazing flavors, it was tough just picking two!
I ended up with Sticky Toffee and Honeycomb. I was in love…
Who doesn’t like a statue of a cow?
Or these friendly pigs? Bless…
Not only are there statues of pigs and cows, there are real animals too. I was happily surprised by a trio of peacocks. I was mesmerized by the colors!
Or check out this lovely little guy! George the mini pig… bless. There were also miniature horses, lamas, alpacas, rabbits, hens and more…
Neal didn’t mind horsing around with a donkey. (Yes, pun intended.)
Fun little adventure out. I can easily see visiting the Ice Cream Farm with future guests to the UK. (If an ice cream farm and a petting zoo doesn’t make you want to buy an airplane ticket, I don’t know what will.)
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
