Today, we woke up to another bright and sunny Saturday morning. Knowing that the crappy British fall weather (probably similar to the summer we just had) is right around the corner we knew we had to seize the sunny opportunity (just like last weekend). We decided to take a short twenty minute drive to the town of Llangollen. This is a quaint mountain town filled with charm so a sunny afternoon made this a perfect stop.
We stopped a little cafe, snagged coffee and enjoyed the views.
From here, we were able to watch the river flow and the steam train go by.
I loved this little produce shop right in the middle of town.
In this produce shop, I was pleased and surprised to see a Washington apple banner. Coming from the great apple state of Washington, I love the idea of that produce making it around the other side of the world.
After exploring the town, and having yummy Welsh ice cream, we went on a scenic drive to STUNNING views. (But that is in my next post…)
Wonderful mini-adventure for this Saturday…
