Today, I went into Chester for a second round job interview that lasted the entire afternoon. I was tested with math, grammar and writing samples…by the end my under worked brain was tired. I walked away feeling positive that I survived and that I showed them my very best stuff.
In an attempt to celebrate a successful interview, Neal took me to dinner at one of the best little pub’s we’ve been to yet: Pant-yr-Ochain (Confused at the spelling? That’s Welsh for you. I pronounce it: Pants a Rockin’) This pub looks like it has been preserved from a Jane Austen novel. It is a fantastic little spot.
Neal and I have decided that this pub will be a highlight for any of our future visitors who make it to Northern Wales. The pub is about 15 minutes from Wrexham’s town center, and is authentic and simply wonderful.
I will be sure to let my blog readers know about the results of the job interview process. I should hear back by the end of this week, early next.
